Rico J. Dominguez is an Associate Attorney at Bobbitt Pinckard & Fields. Rico primarily defends against administrative and criminal investigations of both state and federal law enforcement officers. Rico has also responded to numerous critical incidents, including officer-involved shootings, deaths-in-custody, motor vehicle accidents, and PREA complaints. He utilizes his knowledge of the law, investigative ability, and gregarious approach to bring adversaries together to obtain the best results for his clients.
Prior to Bobbitt Pinckard & Fields, Rico represented individuals, small businesses and Fortune 500 companies in complex and high stakes personal injury lawsuits. He has taken and defended the depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts as well as drafted successful motions to strike, demurrers, motions for summary judgment, and ex parte applications.
Rico earned his J.D. from California Western School of Law in 2021. While in law school, he interned for a prominent criminal defense attorney. During his time as a certified legal intern, Rico drafted successful motions to suppress evidence, and motions to dismiss.
Prior to attending law school, he graduated from University of Colorado, Boulder. While there, he obtained a B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. Rico is licensed to practice before all California Courts.
When Rico is not working, he enjoys golfing, going to Padres games, and spending time with his friends and family.
